Are you a fan of the Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru anime (aka The Betrayal Knows My Name)? If so, you’ll want to check out Desdemona’s UraBoku AMV. At Yaoi-Con it won the judges’ award for Best Technical AMV, and when you watch it, you’ll see why.
It was the first AMV they showed at the awards ceremony, and, well, it felt like all the fujoshi and fudanshi in the audience were left stunned. Prepare for a pleasingly intense combination of action and yanking (not just tugging) on your heartstrings…
Don’t miss the other Yaoi-Con 2014 award-winning AMV’s:
- Best AMV and best comedy: “Ship Happens” by Vivifx
- Best Drama: “No Light” by Tigrin/359172 (Ai no Kusabi, 2012)
- Best Romance: “A Lullaby for the Lost” by Mad World Productions (Sekaiichi Hatsukoi)
- Non-BL Winners: BecauseI’mBored’s “Hot Blooded” (K-Project) & “Poor Unfashionable Souls” (Princess Jellyfish)
I saw this video at the AMV awards and was in awe! Uraboku is one of my favorite anime. Of course, my favorite character is Luka and thus my userID.^^

This anime? I’m pretty sure it’s still one of the videos you can watch on Aarinfantasy — that’s where I first watched most of my yaoi anime.
