come put in your two cents worth

I just wanted to quickly point folks over to hnub’s “Yaoi Manga” post on Thoughts to Language. We’ve been having a fun discussion over there about… um, a lot of yaoi topics?

I tried to sum it up, and my summary stinks (we’ve been wandering around too much for a good, pithy summary), but to be super-global about it, let’s just say we’re chatting about how yaoi manga might possibly affect the real world and how cultural beliefs about gender lead to the ukes and semes we see on the page. You know, fun geeky stuff like that (I’m all about the fun geeky stuff).

We’ve also got a bit of a discussion about family and the sister in Elektel Delusion and whether or not she ends up accepting the boys’ relationship after this scene:

If you’re so inclined, please do hop over to see the post and discussion, and maybe even share your own opinion…
